Fractional CMO
The Role
We are looking for a US based Fractional CMO to partner with us on the next phase of growth for Spell.
We’ve built a deeply connected, high-performing brand in Australia and have already established a strong presence in the US. Now, we are ready to scale with more intent - refining how we show up, who we reach, and how we convert that into long term growth.
This is not a typical CMO role. It’s a strategic partnership with real influence across brand, product, and commercial decisions.
The Opportunity
You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to shape how Spell grows in the US. While ensuring everything ladders back to a clear, cohesive global brand.
This is about focus, clarity, and momentum. Not reinvention.
What You'll Do
- Accelerate our existing US presence - sharpening positioning and unlocking growth
- Identify where we’re leaving opportunity on the table (channel, customer, or message)
- Build a clear, commercially grounded growth roadmap
- Elevate how brand and performance work together
- Bring a strong US lens, without losing global brand integrity
- Act as a senior marketing partner to the leadership team
About You
You’ve done this before. Ideally in fashion or consumer. You understand:
- How to scale a brand in the US market
- The balance between brand building and performance
- What actually drives customer acquisition and repeat purchase behaviour
- How to cut through noise and focus on what matters
- You are as comfortable setting direction as you are pressure testing execution
